Written by Imogen Heap and Guy Sigsworth, "Aeroplane" is on her first album Imegaphone.
"Aeroplane" is about feeling a sense of happiness and tranquility with yourself.
"Peaceful colors everywhere/purples and deep blues/feelings so at home here oh/as if up here i grew/It's so beautiful up here now/oh i think i might just stay/all alone and by myself/so free and far away..."
The melody helps the song to be peaceful with an upbeat yet mellow tune. Vocally, even though there's not a lot of vocal range, Heap's singing is very pleasant to hear as it helps to bring out emotions of being contempt. Lyrically, even though the stanzas are short, it still manages to convey it's message across.
"Aeroplane" gets a rating of four out of five stars for a good melody, short and sweet lyrics and good vocals.
