According to SFA, Snack Food Association, holidays such as New Years, Fourth of July, Labor Day and events such as Super Bowl Sunday have the highest snack consumption. The month of February is dedicated to National Snack Food Month.

1. The Snack Food Association and The National Potato Promotion Board started National Snack Food Month to increase consumption of snack food products.
2. There are greeting cards dedicated to National Snack Food Month.
3. York Country is named the snack food capital of the world.
