In 2005, the single peaked at number 20 in the U.S. Billboard Hot Dance Music/Club Play while also peaking on number 88 in the U.S. Billboard Pop 100. The following year, it raised up to number 12 on the U.S. Billboard Bubbling Under Hot 100 Singles.

4 Ever is about a promised one night stand that will never be forgotten. Instead of listening and wondering what people would say, The Veronicas sing about living the moment.

The song's pop/rock melody makes the tune interesting and entertaining to listen to. It's grossly catchy as it adds life to the lyrics. The syntax of the song are full of tongue and cheek humor. The vocals adds in an extra push of excitement to the song as it makes it sound more appealing.

This song is three and half out of five stars. It's a good tune to jam to since the lyrics are easy to sing to and The Veronicas' vocals does a good job on bringing an extra boost of energy to their hit.
